Impartiality Policy
I.C.B. through the policies and procedures it applies wishes to provide trust to all parties interested in the management system conformity assessment.
The procedures are non-discriminatory and they are managed by the body’s personnel in a non-discriminatory way, documented, clear, concise, and they do not restrain or block the applicant’s access in any way.
I.C.B. makes its services openly available on www. certin.net. There are no other, specific or hidden financial implications. The requested certification fees are consistent with the market rates and are not determined by the client’s size or its membership to an association or a group, and the certification is not determined by the number/the type of certifications already issued.
I.C.B. does not offer consultancy to obtain or to maintain certification, consultancy for products and/or product design services, management system implementation and preservation. I.C.B. does not offer or provide internal audit to its certified clients. I.C.B. does not offer or provide second party audit to its certified clients.
The impartiality of certification activities performed by I.C.B. is monitored by the Impartiality Committee (CI) which works independently, supervising and controlling all I.C.B. activities, receives immediate information and takes immediate action in case of incidents or emerging issues like complaints, conflicts, appeals, public criticism, accreditation assessments’ findings, etc safeguarding impartiality for all I.C.B. activities.
I.C.B. makes available to the Impartiality Committee also the financial documents that determine its financial resources, with enough details to prove that it can maintain its impartiality and that it holds enough resources to continue its activity.
I.C.B. has the necessary facilities to perform certification activities in the best conditions.
I.C.B. has determined and documented potential threats over impartiality that may appear during management system conformity assessments, as well as the way they may be eliminated or reduced to an acceptable level of risk.
I.C.B. uses own funds to cover the needed policies for professional civil liability insurance.
